[4] 05 -09 Mustang GT Bullit rims and Nitto Extreme 255/50ZR17
Four 17" Bullits in great shape with 4 NT555 Extreme ZR tires. I need to go bigger with new Saleen VI S/C and am willing to sacrifice this excellent wheel tire combo. Tires have approx 80 % tread left as can be seen in the attached photos. Prefer pickup in Lethbridge, Alberta.
SOLD!!!

I want to stay with bullits, so I was thinking of staggered 18X10 and 18X9 such as, http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/Wheels-for-Mustang/Mustang-Bullitt-Bullet-Deep-Dish-Wheels-2005-Gunmetal#.UqPw-BuIokJ. Or maybe the full chrome ones.05eleanor wrote:what kind of wheel and tire combo you gonna get Len?
For tires: suitable Nitto 05s or MT ET Streets 11. Haven't quite decided yet. Have a lot of time to research. Need something bigger, sticker but able to last a while. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I do know what your talking about when you say hooking up is a problem. I just don't know what to recommend. ET streets would be awesome or even mickey Thompson drag radials. problem is theyre a soft compound and wont last that long maybe 10k.

Re: [4] 05 -09 Mustang GT Bullit rims and Nitto Extreme 255/50ZR17
Drove the car last month to coffee in the am when the streets looked damp. Couldn't even apply much gas without spinning. Left traction control on and feathered the gas. Agree that drag radials wouldn't do for me as I drive the car a lot and they wouldn't last. Aren't the bullits I'm looking at similar to yours? I've got an empty Autometer 3 gauge pod sitting on the dash. I think I've suggested to the family to forget the usual stuff for Xmas and get me some Prosport Evo Digital green/white gauges. Wideband, boost and fuel pressure. I wanted the AIT not fuel pressure but it wasn't the Evo digital and couldn't get it in green/white. I know there's better gauges, but these look pretty good and I didn't want to burden them with a high cost. http://prosportgauges.com/evo-series-green-and-white.aspx . With the gauges and wheels/tires (maybe) it should help the passage of winter and keep me somewhat busy. I was getting a P0340 code a while ago so I changed my alternator to a high output 160 amp DB alt and heavier wire. When I took the old alt. off, I was able to check the supercharger oil which was right up to level (peace of mind). Car runs like a champ. With the 410s and running 60 to 70 mph I'm getting almost 23 mpg (ideal conditions). Not so good in town. Brenspeed lowered my shift point so if I can keep it just over 35 mph in town, revs are low and get good gas mileage, but the old (I should talk) fogies and traffic lights on MM Drive don't allow that often. Hopefully we can make the Christmas party and will let Donna know shortly.05eleanor wrote:I do know what your talking about when you say hooking up is a problem. I just don't know what to recommend. those bullits are just like mine were, I had American racing Shelby series. Your car must be a rocket with your combination. Im interested to see how the gauge pod works for you. Ive always liked that pod on the dash but wasn't sure about routing wires etc through the dash pad. I don't have to many mods going on this winter, I got a moroso master cylinder cover and a chrome trim piece for my cupholder. No performance mods:cry: Wanna put some gears in the 73 this winter too, so I guess it gets the performance mods this year lol

Re: [4] 05 -09 Mustang GT Bullit rims and Nitto Extreme 255/50ZR17
Well I went with the American Muscle Staggered anthractite, 18X9, 18X10 wheels as OE wasn`t able to supply there`s for another 45 days. Should be at Montana shipping on Monday. Looks like I`m going with Mickey Thompson ET Street 11, 305X45X18 and MT Street comp 255X45X18. The 305s are almost 29`tall so that should lower my 410 gear ratio more like 390s. Gotta get everything together for the big 50th at College Merc. The good deal I had on these tires fell through, so I went with two 28 X 12"R X 18"LT MT Sportsman SR on the rear and two MT Street comp 245/45R18 for the front.
These should last longer - likely a lot less hook-up.

Had a good deal for the streets 11, but it fell through so I got 28 X 12.00R X 18 LT MT Sportsman SR for the backs and 245/45-18 street comps for the front. Elrich promised to have them in by today or Monday Apr. 21. Oh Well!!!
