Its actually running better than ever,got almost all the bugs out,even the nitrous is working good now..was an electrical issue......Ive got a transgo kit on order with an r type super servo,Im sure that flare will be gone,,,It has seemed better lately,but I havent really had my foot into it either!!!!!
Those drag tires can be tempermental,I really have to watch not to get on it going around corners...not sure if its the spool causing the tire to bunch up and pinch the tube,or trying to wrinkle them with too much air in them...either way ,when Im not patching the tubes they work wicked....gonna do a little work in the back end right away too.....

its a 64 galaxie.....I love the fairlane side trim better but just the same this car is so sweet and when I saw a video of it and heard it,My heart went pitter patter..lol has a 427 fe...sounds like solid lifters..amazing car..he got on it a little and wow....I almost sold mine ,if it had happened I would have bought this exact car..it was for sale..15000.cheap...oh man do I love these cars..But you know ,Im very in love with mine now that I got the bugs worked out...still a 64 fairlaine/galaxie with a 427 fe or the sohc preferably[lol] would be a dream come true!!!

thanks man!! that 69 that lenko posted the picture of...I know that notchback, it was owned by a guy in foremost who almost got killed in it..Im sure thats the same car.....very sweet a 69 notchback is another one of my dream cars and when I win not if but when I win 649 I will have each of those cars and a couple of others like the 69 ford gt40 ,the light blue with orange stripes. I would also like to own a bitch'n "pantera"

Actually I bought it new (ordered) at the old Raymond Motors in October 1968. They were a Lincoln Dealer so they brought it in through a Claresholm dealership, $ 4300.00. Couldn't deal with Dunlop. I had it until 1988 when one of my daughter's took out a light standard on Mayor Magrath by the Water Tower and wrote it off. Ross Owen from Wrentham who my younger daughter was going with and later married was in the car but wasn't hurt so I don't know if that is what you heard or not or maybe it was another incident. During it's lifetime, I had it painted (always midnight blue) a couple of times by Bill Pupp and the guys at TNT redid the engine for me - shaved heads, pistons, lifters, hi-rise maifold, 355 gears and a bigger holley - went pretty good. Was a cop in Lethbridge then so I didn't race it, much. Took on Sgt Bill West and Cst Bill Albertson on the Highway 3 Bridge one time. They were in a hot 68 Dodge 383, 325 HP police car and from 40 mph on I walked away from them up the west side hill. The GT revved well and had no top end. 351 Windsor. After the accident it sat in wreck yard for some time - tow truck driver bought it. Last I heard it was stored in Coaldale and then I lost track of it.

I know stuff happens and thankfully everyone walked away unharmed but I would have been devestated over losing that car...Trev...aka 05eleanor and I have discussed a car like that many times only with a 428 though and a super drag pack with the shaker hood and 4 speed top loader........Rory calhoun owned one almost identical to it in foremost and wrote it off in a drunken fit one night...same colour and everything..He told me he loved that car!!! I would too...my 71 torino is a prize that almost got wrote off last week when an idiot ran a red light, it was on my trailer at the time but came inches away from hitting it..I had to hit the ditch to miss him..I think I had the shakes for 3 days after that,thinking about what could have happened...the only good thought was how much it was appraised for...so I could get that 64 fairlane tbolt!!!!!!!! the winning numbers today is 427!!!!!!!!!!!!
